The Pokémon Company, approaching the 35 million units sold mark

Nintendo has shared a financial report of Nintendo Switch sales to date, also including total sales of Pokémon series titles in the last fiscal year.

According to this report, The Pokémon Company is close to 35 million units sold when adding up sales of Pokémon Shiny Diamond / Shimmering Pearl, Pokémon Legends Arceus, Pokémon Sword, and Shield, New Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! / Let's Go, Eevee!

The fourth-generation remakes developed by ILCA have sold 14.64 million units between November 2021 (their release date) and March 2022. On the other hand, Pokémon Arceus Legends sold 12.64 million units between January and March.

Pokémon Sword and Shield together sold 3.18 million copies during the last fiscal year, with total sales of 24.27 million units.

If we focus on individual games, Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! / Let's Go, Eevee! the remakes of Pokémon Yellow with Pokémon GO mechanics, sold about 1.25 million copies in the same period (14.53 million in total), while New Pokémon Snap sold 2.40 million in its first year.

Finally, Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, the new installments scheduled for the end of 2022, represent the leap to the open world in the saga, with a setting inspired in Spain.
